Clan launch new jersey

Fans of the Braehead Clan can get up close to their heroes tonight.

For the Elite League ice hockey club is launching their new shirt at an event in Renfrew.

A club spokesman said: “This is your chance to not only meet the players ahead of the forthcoming season, but also to see the new Clan jerseys for the 2012/2013 campaign!

“Why not come along and meet the players and head coach Jordan Krestanovich, pose for photos, get some autographs and catch up with your fellow Clan fans over a light refreshment?”

The hosts for the launch evening will be club sponsor – and official hotel partner – the Glynhill Hotel, based in Renfrew.

A spokesman continued: “Fans and sponsors should head along to the Barony Two suite, located within the hotel for 7pm.

“We will be starting the official jersey presentations at 7.20pm. “
