OLD Ranfurly have tightened their grip at the top of the Renfrewshire Seniors Golf League.
The Bridge of Weir outfit are a massive eight points clear of their nearest rivals following the latest round of games.
Old Ranfurly extended their 100per cent unbeaten record as they edged past Elderslie by 3½-2½, handing them seven wins out of seven.
Second-placed Caldwell have some catching up to do, although they have three games in hand which could help them eat into Old Ranfurly’s lead.
Cochrane Castle could only muster a 3-3 draw with Kilmacolm, while they also lost to Renfrew 3½-1½ in their second outing of ther week.
