CALEDONIA have closed the gap on pacesetters Wellmeadow in the Paisley Veterans Bowling Association Outdoor Triples League.
The Paisley side moved to within three points of their rivals during week six of the campaign, beating Priorscroft 6-2.
And table-toppers Wellmeadow dropped valuable points when the best they could muster was a 4-4 draw with Renfrew.
Elderslie Wallace moved up when they posted a 6-2 win over third-placed Hawkhead, while Meikleriggs and Ralston battled out a 4-4 draw.
It was a good week for Blacklandmill as the Paisley club thrashing Abercorn 8-0, while Ferguslie were also celebrating when they posted the same convincing score when they met Victoria.
