A CALL has been issued for female footballer to help swell the ranks of Scottish champions Glasgow City Ladies.
The hugely-successful club already features a number of players from the Paisley and Barrhead areas but bosses are now looking for new players for their youth teams.
City boast teams at under-15, under-13 and under-11 level and players of all abilities are welcome to get in touch or go along to one of their training sessions.
Training starts again in January and takes place on Mondays at Wallacewell Primary School in the north of Glasgow and on Fridays at Merrylee Primary on the south side of the city.
All youth training sessions are taken alongside the record-breaking first team and all Glasgow City coaches are qualified first aiders and have passed the required Disclosure Scotland checks.
A spokesperson said: “As a City player, you will receive Glasgow City Adidas training and playing kit and will have access to first team benefits, such as the Glasgow City physio team.
“No other club in Scotland has a full-time head coach leading the guidance and development of every player at the club.”
