ARTHURLIE defender Craig Higgins is ruled out of today’s Superleague Premier clash with Petershill at Dunterlie.
Higgins has suffered a setback in his recovery from a knee injury and will take no part in this afternoon’s clash.
Boss Mark Cameron said: “Craig has had a setback and we might need to look at sending him for a scan.”
Today’s teams have already locked horns in the league. Back in August Cameron’s side posted a creditable 4-2 victory at New Petershill Park.
On target for the Barrhead battlers that were Stephen Anderson with a double, John McLay and Joe Andrew.
But Cameron predicts a tough clash today.
He said: “Petershill are a big physical side and they can cause you bother at set pieces or with balls into the box.
“If we are to get anything, then we’ll have to be at our very best.”
Kick-off at Dunterlie is 1.45pm.
l William Hill latest odds: Arthurlie 4/9, Petershill 4/1, draw 10/3.
