JOHNSTONE Burgh will be playing in the bottom tier of Junior football next season.
The Keanie Park side have been officially relegated from the Central League First Division after they lost 1-0 at home to Larkhall Thistle.
The result means Burgh will be plying their trade in the Central District Division Two next season, where they will take on the likes of Junior minnows Forth Wanderers, Royal Albert and Dunipace.
It’s the second season in a row that the Keanie Park outfit has dropped down a level as they were relegated from the Superleague First Division into the Central League a year ago.
Co-manager George Walker said the club will now undergo major changes ahead of the new season.
He added: “I’ll still be here next season but the necessary changes will be made. The bottom line is that we were not good enough this year.”
