COMEBACK king Stephen O’Donnell reckons there will be a feel-good factor at St Mirren Park when the players return for pre-season training.
Saints have already signed defender Lee Mair from Aberdeen this summer.
And they will be boosted further by the return to fitness of O’Donnell, who signed a new contract last week that ties him to the Paisley club until the summer of 2010.
The 25-year-old midfielder is predicting good things for St Mirren and said it was an easy decision to stay on in Paisley.
O’Donnell said: “We’re going in the right direction as a club and being at St Mirren is a good place to be right now. Although last season was frustrating for me in terms of injury, some of the football the lads played was the best I’ve seen since I arrived at the club.”
