Fans able to pay at gate for Bairns clash

SAINTS supporters will be able to pay at the gate for tomorrow’s clash with Falkirk.

Travelling fans will be allocated the Keir Homes North Stand at the Falkirk Stadium and admission will cost £21 for adults and £13 for those aged over 65, under 16 and students who have a valid matriculation card.

The Buddies will be hoping that tomorrow’s trip to the home of the Bairns is just as successful as their previous outing there.

The last time the teams met at Falkirk Stadium was back in December, when Gus MacPherson’s side secured three precious league points.

Jim Hamilton put the visitors in the driving seat after 41 minutes before Falkirk defender Jackie McNamara was sent off for a shocking tackle on the St Mirren goalscorer.

Steve Lovell levelled matters just past the hour mark but Dennis Wyness grabbed the all-important winner with 17 minutes remaining to secure a 2-1 victory. The other two meetings between St Mirren and Falkirk this season have both ended in draws.

Saints fought back to record a 1-1 scoreline at Love Street back in September, while the Bairns scored a late equaliser to share the points at St Mirren Park on Valentine’s Day.
