Prices are cut for Saturday’s clash

SAINTS fans were last night handed a credit-crunching boost after Motherwell slashed admission prices for this Saturday’s SPL match at Fir Park.

Fans can gain entry for as little as £5.

The reduction in admission prices for the match will apply to all areas of the stadium.

The game is to be shown live on Setanta Sports and it is hoped that the reduced admission prices will lead to a much healthier crowd.

Last night, St Mirren’s general manager Brian Caldwell welcomed the move.

He told Express Sports: “It’s a tremendous gesture on Motherwell’s part to reduce the admission prices for Saturday’s game.

“Hopefully, this move will encourage many more St Mirren fans to come along and give the team their full backing.

“It’s a big game for us and a big game for Motherwell too.”

Admission to Saturday’s game can be paid at the gate.

St Mirren supporters heading along to Fir Park will be allocated the South Stand.

This holds a total of 4,400 spectators.
