SEASON ticket holders are being urged to act fast this weekend when tickets for St Mirren’s Homecoming Scottish Cup semi-final clash with Rangers at Hampden go on sale.
Briefs will be available to purchase for St Mirren season ticket holders only when they go on sale at Greenhill Road on Friday from 10am until 6pm.
Saints booked their passage into the semi-final, which takes place on Saturday, April 25, with a famous 1-0 win over Celtic last month, when Billy Mehmet, above, scored the all-important goal from the penalty spot.
It’s the first time St Mirren have been in the semi-finals of the competition since 1987 – the year they last won the Scottish Cup.
And their big match with Rangers later this month will spark a flurry of interest from fans who are desperate to see their heroes in action at Hampden.
Season ticket holders also have the option of purchasing tickets online at www.smfctickets.co.uk.
Alternatively, they can buy tickets from the stadium at Greenhill Road on Saturday between 9am and noon and on Easter Monday from 10am until 4pm.
Supporters are also being asked to note that, after the SPL game against Hibernian at St Mirren Park on the evening of Easter Monday, the ticket office will re-open from 9.30pm until 10pm for any season ticket holders wishing to purchase briefs.
From Tuesday, April 14, any supporters who are already registered on the St Mirren ticketing system at www.smfctickets.co.uk will be able to buy briefs online.
Saints are expected to receive an initial allocation of 10,000 tickets for the cup semi-final, with the option of additional briefs should they be required.
Ticket prices for adults are between £15 and £25, with children being admitted to the family section for £5.
