Scottish Cup tie off after pitch inspection

THE Scottish Cup tie between St Mirren and Brechin City has been called off following a pitch inspection.

The inspection took take place at Brechin City’s Glebe Park ground at around 10.30am today.

The re-arranged match is now scheduled to go ahead on Tuesday, January 13, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

If the match were to go to a replay, it would be the last ever game to be played at Love Street and plans are in place to make tickets available to buy online.

In that case, supporters will be able to log on to www.smfctickets.co.uk to reserve their place at the historic match.
