Reserve squad need to play the waiting game

ST Mirren’s SPL Reserve League match with Hibs at Love Street this week has been cancelled.

The game was initially due to be played this Saturday but with important midweek first team fixtures to be played, the decision’s been taken to scrap the weekend Reserves card.

As a result the second string will have to wait another week before kicking a ball.

Saints are expected to take on the Hibees at Love Street next week but the date and kick-off time have still to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Saints will have a decent travelling support when they head to the Granite City to take on Aberdeen at Pittodrie this evening.

The Tile Bar St Mirren supporters are leaving Smithhills Street at 3.45pm for the trip to Aberdeen and tickets are on sale behind the bar.
