Dorman could miss cup showdown

Andy Dorman

ANDY Dorman is at the centre of a new injury scare, Express Sports can reveal.

The midfielder picked up a problem with his hamstring during Saturday’s draw with Falkirk and could be in doubt for tonight’s league cup tie with Dunfermline.

It’s the third time Dorman, left, has sustained a knock as in pre-season he picked to a niggling Achilles injury, before he injured his back during a pre-season game with Darlington.

Buddies boss Gus MacPherson will assess Dorman’s injury today before making a decision on whether to risk the midfielder or not.

Right back David Barron is still missing on account of his medial ligament knee injury.

And Spaniard Tonet is also expected to miss out due to a problem with his foot.

But there is a possibility that Franco Miranda, who picked up a head wound during Saturday’s draw with Falkirk, could come back into contention for the tough match.
