SAINTS are mulling over the possibility of another pre-season clash with Dumbarton.
The Sons are viewed as traditional summer opponents for the Paisley club, who have played them on several occasions over the past decade.
And, after Dumbarton bosses confirmed they would be willing opponents again this summer, Buddies boss Danny Lennon is trying to find an appropriate date for the game.
If it can be fitted into the club’s busy pre-season schedule, it is most likely that the friendly fixture will take place at the newly-promoted First Division outfit’s Strathclyde Homes Stadium.
Lennon said: “We have two games for our Spanish trip all but arranged and we also have Morton to play on July 21. Dumbarton want a game too but we’ll wait and see on that.”
