A TALENTED trio of St Mirren starlets can look forward to continuing their development next month after being called into the Scotland Under-15 squad.
Goalkeeper Jamie McGowan, defender Ross Wilkinson and striker Connor Murray are all members of the St Mirren Pro-Youth system and have been making a big impression on coaches at the Paisley club.
Now they have been included in the Scotland youth squad which will take part in a training camp at Airdrie United’s Excelsior Stadium on Tuesday, June 12.
The call-ups are just the latest in a series of international honours bestowed on St Mirren youngsters in recent months.
Among the others is midfield maestro Kenny McLean, who is in the squad for an important UEFA European Under-21 Championships qualifier away to Bulgaria on Thursday, May 31
The young Buddie will be hoping to help fire Scotland closer to the Under-21 Euro finals, which take place in Israel in 2013.
