Man unaware he was shot in the head

A MAN complaining of headaches had no idea that he had been shot in the head - FIVE years earlier.

The 35-year-old Polish man who lives in Germany believed his pain was coming from a lump which he believed was a cyst.

After investigation, doctors were startled to find a .22 caliber bullet lodged in the back of the man's head.

When shown the bullet, the man recalled receiving a blow to the head after celebrating New Year around five years ago.

The man is expected to be released from hospital this week after having the bullet removed.
