Salmond challenged on rail link

First Minister Alex Salmond has clashed with his Labour rival Iain Gray over the economy before next week's crunch Budget vote.

MSPs are due to have the final vote on the minority SNP administration's £30 billion Budget on Wednesday.

Mr Gray said the Scottish Government's capital spending plans, which pay for major infrastructure projects, are "a shambles".
