Plane forced to turn back
A plane was forced to turn around shortly after take-off when the pilot smelled smoke in the cockpit.
A full emergency was called at Aberdeen Airport after the BMI Embraer 145 reported problems around five minutes into the flight.
The Birmingham-bound plane landed safely at around 8.45am and the airport's emergency services were stood down.
