Inmates failing drugs tests

Seven inmates a day are failing drugs tests in Scotland's jails, the Tories said.

And 40% of the failed tests involve heroin or other "opiate" drug but not methadone, they said.

The figure was described by Tory MSP John Lamont as further evidence of the "horrific" nature of drug abuse in jail - and the Scottish Government's "complete lack of grip".
