School’s cash bid

THE Parent Council of St Benedict’s High School in Linwood is taking steps to counter the credit crunch.

Funding cuts have severely impacted on school services and the PC are set to organise lots of events in a bid to raise much needed cash.

First on the agenda is a race night and disco, which will take place at the school, which is situated on Bridge of Weir Road.

Punters are under starter’s orders on Friday, February 27 at 7.30pm, with the last 70’s boogie set for around 11.30pm. The cost is just £2 per head.
