MEMBERS of the Boys’ Brigade will be attending a special show at Braehead on Saturday to celebrate their 125th anniversary.
Boys from all over the UK and Ireland will be taking part in the show as well as some visitors from abroad, including Hong Kong.
There will be 650 musicians including a massed pipe band and more than 200 boys taking part in all kinds of activities including local troops from Paisley, Johnstone, Bridge of Weir and Neilston.
A battalion spokesman said: “This is the big event to mark the beginning of the Boys Brigade 125 years ago in Glasgow and Braehead Arena is the ideal place for it.
“We are so pleased that so many local members are taking part and are heavily involved in the management of the show.
“It’s a show for all ages and there will be people in the audience from the UK and other countries there.”
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets, priced £10, are available from Braehead Arena box office.
