Mums were at the top of the agenda when a group of toddlers met for an activity afternoon.
The ABC Childminders group, from Renfrew, got busy as the tots made special cards and gifts to take home so they could show their mums how much they mean to them.
Spokeswoman Helen Wardrop said: “Mother’s Day is a special day for mums throughout Renfrewshire and holds great significance for all of us at the ABC group.
“The children had a great day as they made lots of bits and pieces and they even found time to come up with their own special rhyme for the occasion.
“It reads: ‘When it comes to mothers, there’s lots of them about – but you’re the very, very best, of that there is no doubt!”
There was also a display table and colouring sheets for the children to take home for Mother’s Day.
Helen said: “We always like to make sure we do something special for Mother’s Day.
“It’s a celebration of Motherhood throughout the world.”
