Post-op breast cancer session

Charity Breast Cancer Care will be holding an information session for patients on the signs and symptoms to look out for with the possible recurrence of Breast Cancer.

The event will be held at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley tomorrow from 10am-1pm.

It will focus on being breast aware after breast cancer surgery and specialist speaker, Sharon Treacy, a breast care nurse at the RAH, will explain the common changes to breast and surrounding tissue after surgery, what to expect at follow up appointments and signs of a possible recurrence of cancer.

The meeting will be informal, with plenty of time for people to meet, share experiences and ask questions over tea, coffee and refreshments.
