WOMEN throughout Renfrewshire are being urged to grab the once-in-a-lifetime chance to become a Grid Girl.
Breast Cancer Care, in association with car care giant HiQ, are scouring the country for a girl to act as ambassador for one of the nation’s most treasured charities.
The winning Grid Girl will represent the brand at the British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch in October.
HiQ’s marketing manager, Geraldine McGovern, said: “We launched our Grid Girl initiative in 2009 and it has gone from strength to strength.
“Not only does it raise awareness of a charity close to our hearts, but it will allow a lady to have the chance to enjoy the limelight in front of 35,000 spectators.”
