WOMEN searching for advice on breast reconstruction after surviving cancer are being invited to a special seminar tomorrow.
Breast Cancer Care’s Information and Support sessions cover a range of topics to help people move forward after breast cancer treatment – and they are bringing a meeting to Renfrew.
This session will focus on breast reconstruction with specialist speaker, Mr McKirdy, consultant surgeon at Royal Alexandra Hospital, discussing the different types of surgery available, points to consider for each type and how to access further information.
Linsay Rodgers, of Breast Cancer Care, said: “The session are very informal with plenty of time for people to meet and share experiences.
“Places are limited so we do ask people to book in advance, purely to make sure they get a spot.”
Those interested can call 0141 353 8330 or email sco@breastcancer care.org.uk
