A GROUP of enthusiastic toddlers will take part in a ‘Welly Waddle’ this week to raise awareness and vital funds for Scottish Cot Death Trust.
The children from the ABC Childminders in Renfrew will take to their heels on Wednesday for the fundraising challenge.
Organiser Kerry Goudie said: “We wanted to organise something for the charity because it is such a worthwhile and important cause.
“It’s also great fun for children and they really love getting their wellies on and going out for a quick splash in the puddles!
“Now they can do just that and raise funds for the Scottish Cot Death Trust at the same time.”
The Scottish Cot Death Trust is the only national charity dedicated to fighting the condition through research and education.
The charity also offers support to families who have suffered the loss of a baby to cot death.
The Scottish Cot Death Trust gets less than three per cent of their income from local government, so any support they can get is vital.
