KIND parishioners at a busy church are organising a coffee morning to raise vital cash for a deserving charity.
Quarriers, on the outskirts of Bridge of Weir, supports disadvantaged people who have experienced homelessness, learning difficulties, illness, abuse and personal problems like low self-esteem.
Now the charity’s important work will be boosted by money raised at the social event, which takes place on Saturday, April 14, from noon till 2pm, at St Aidan’s Church Hall, in Tower Road, Johnstone.
There will be baking, a book stall and raffles at the event, which includes free tea and coffee.
In other news, the St Aidan’s Easter Vigil will take place on Saturday at 9pm, followed by Easter Sunday Masses at 11am and 6pm.
