IT will be a red-letter day when parishioners at St Aidan’s Church host an international ecumenical service.
The event is being organised as part of the World Day of Prayer, which will be observed across the globe.
And this is the first time it’s been held at the Johnstone church for nine years.
The service, which is open to all women who are supportive of the ecumenical movement, will be followed by light refreshments in the hall.
There will also be an opportunity to see round the church building.
The service takes place on Friday, March 2, starting at 7pm, at the church hall, in Tower Road, Johnstone.
