COPS were yesterday hunting a drunken pervert who exposed himself to a young woman and carried out a solo sex act on a crowded night bus.
After the weirdo’s behaviour was reported by a fellow passenger, the angry bus driver ordered him to leave the vehicle.
The incident happened on the number 23 Arriva service between Glasgow and Erskine at around 11.45pm on Thursday.
The suspect, who is believed to be from Eastern Europe, had been drinking a can of beer on the bus and struck up a conversation with a 21-year-old woman who was on her way home.
After he had asked her name and where she lived, the woman noticed he was committing a sex act.
The flasher was thrown off the bus near to the Abbotsinch Service Station, in Inchinnan Road, Renfrew, and the police were alerted.
A police spokesperson said: “The man is described as being in his late 30s to early 40s, around 5ft 8ins tall and spoke with an Eastern European accent.
“He was wearing a black beanie-style hat, a dark navy jacket and navy cargo trousers, with pockets on the legs. He was also carrying a black holdall.
“There were several passengers on the bus at the time of the offence and we are keen to speak to them.”
