Free transport to hospital

HOSPITAL visitors who find it a struggle to call on a loved one in the evening can take advantage of a new bus service.

A council-run bus can now take you right from your front door to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.

All local residents can use the service although priority will be given to people over 60, those who are disabled or on a low income.

To find out more, call the transport service on 0845 128 4027.

The phone line is open Monday to Thursday between 1pm and 4pm and on Fridays from 1pm to 3.30pm.

Transport may be booked up to one week in advance.

For transport to other than your nearest hospital, call the booking line after 3pm.
