Couple attacked in tenement

A MAN and woman suffered injuries when they were attacked at a tenement building in Paisley’s South End.

It is understood that the man was stabbed in the leg and the woman was cut on the finger.

The victims, both 20, went to the town’s Royal Alexandra Hospital where their wounds were treated.

The attack is thought to have taken place at a tenement block in Neilston Road, around 11.30pm on Friday.

Police are checking CCTV footage in the hope a suspect was caught on camera.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
