A FEMALE thief, described as fat but fast enough on her feet, robbed a householder who let her use the toilet.
The heavy-built woman made a quick exit with over £100 from the flat in Paisley’s West End.
Last night police appealed for witnesses to come forward in case the trickster had called at neighbouring doors.
The con woman is aged 20 to 30, about 5ft 8ins, has fair hair and wore a light-coloured zipped shell suit.
The theft happened in Argyle Street, Paisley, between noon and 12.30pm on Friday, February 25.
Police said the victim, who is 50, opened his door to a woman who asked to use the toilet. A short time later she hurried out with the man’s cash.
Anyone with information that might help track down the woman is asked to ring Paisley Police Office on 0141 532 5900 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
