Travel information

A NEW mobile travel centre is on its way to give people information on rural buses and trains.

The travel centre promotes public transport and is the only one of its kind in Scotland.

Run by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport, it will provide people in rural areas with information on local rail and bus services, and express and long distance coach services.

There will also be information on short stay breaks and local ferry services.

The vehicle is accessible to people with impaired mobility and wheelchair users, and helps passengers plan their journeys.

It also provides information on trips around Strathclyde, Britain and the whole of Europe.

Further information can be obtained by phoning Travel Line on 08712 00 22 33 anytime.

Alternatively you can log on to the website at www.spt.co.uk
