GENEROUS Buddies helped paint the town pink and raise a packet for charity.
Evelyn Campbell organised Paint Paisley Pink to raise money for Breast Cancer Research.
And now she’s collected in all the cash which comes to a fantastic £6,017.20.
Buddie Evelyn said: “I’m delighted we raised so much. I’m amazed at the total
“I’d like to give a special thanks to The Diageo Foundation, which generously donated £3,000.
“Also, a big thank you to all at Café Borgia, Maureen, Helen, Kate and all at the Piazza Shopping Centre, Stephanie, Jeanette and all at the The Paisley Centre and the In Shops.
“We’d also liek to thank everyone at Vienna’s, Soho, Kilty Kilty and Fury Murrys, businesses on and around the High Street and Alan at Barclays Bank as well as Billy Abercrombie, Gerrard Doherty and Fraser Kirkwood.”
On the fundraising day, businesses around Paisley town centre displayed pink and white balloons and at night, several bars and clubs in and around New Street held a fundraising night.
Evelyn added: “I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated and supported the campaign. The next event will be Easter weekend with lots of bunnies so look out for that!”
