CARING crimpers from a Paisley college used their skills to raise a three-figure sum for charity.
The Hairdressing and Beauty students from Reid Kerr College organised a fun-filled makeover day for staff and other students to coin in cash for Children in Need.
Everyone was treated to before and after photoshoots, hair styling, make-up and manicures, with the students raising an impressive total of £1,000.
Paisley woman Lesley Kidd, 41, who is studying for a HNC Hairdressing qualification, said: “It was fantastic to raise so much money.
“Our efforts were supported by some great raffles prizes, including Bed and Breakfast from the Swallow Hotel in Glasgow and a voucher from Ma Potters at Braehead Shopping Centre in Renfrew.”
And the National Progression Award (NPA) Playwork students also got in on the act to raise money for the TV charity appeal by completing a sponsored dancercise, raising more than £100.
