RAH car park work warning

PATIENTS and visitors who need to attend Paisley’s Royal Alexandra Hospital during December and January are being asked for patience and consideration while work is being carried out at the car park.

Work to resurface the RAH car park is getting under way this week and is likely to continue until into January.

This will result in fewer car parking spaces being available during this time and patients and visitors should bear this in mind when visiting the hospital.

Lorna Campbell, site and facilities manager at the RAH, hopes people will understand the need to resurface the car park for everyone’s benefit and plan any visits with this mind.

She said: “We appreciate that parts of the car park being closed for resurfacing will mean fewer spaces. However, when the work is complete, it will make a big difference for everyone attending the hospital.

“We would ask everyone to be patient whilst this work is ongoing and to ensure they leave themselves time to park their car elsewhere if the remaining hospital car park spaces are full.”
