Sport clubs money offer

AN anti-racism charity is ready to blow the final whistle on opportunities to benefit from a grants scheme.

Sports and community groups throughout Renfrewshire who wish to apply for grants of up to £1,000 for sport projects which tackle discrimination and exclusion have until the end of today to do so.

Kick It Out and the Football Foundation’s ‘One Game, One Community’ grants are supported by many high-profile stars.

These include Tottenham Hotspur captain Ledley King.

He said: “Kick It Out plays a really important role in highlighting and addressing issues.

“It’s great to be part of that.”

The Kick It Out organisation has been endorsed by many celebrities.

It aims to tackle racism in football of all levels.
