Feline clever?

YOUNGSTERS who are feline creative could get their paws on £500 for their school.

Radio Clyde is looking for youngsters to name the new cat mascot for its Cash for Kids charity appeal.

And the clever youngster who comes up with the name chosen by the judging panel will win £500 for their school.

Dawn Gibson from Bauer Radio Charities said: “We have been working really hard on the re-brand of our Cash For Kids charity and having our mascot in place will really be the icing on the cake.

“As all our fund-raising goes directly towards helping underprivileged children we thought there would be no-one better placed to come up with our cat’s name than local youngsters.

“We are looking for them to get their heads together and send us in their entries on what they think our mascot should be called.”

The judging panel will be members of the Bauer Radio Charities team and will provide a £500 cash prize for the winning school.

So if you want to be Top Cat in your area, paws for thought and then send your suggestions to: Cash for Kids Cat, Radio Clyde, 3 South Avenue, Clydebank Business Park, G81 2RX.

Closing date for entries is Friday, October 10.
