A COMMUNITY learning centre is to stay open after the council negotiated a new 10 year lease.

The council rents its education and lifelong learning department community wing at the Bargarran Neighbourhood Shopping Centre, Erskine, from the Albert Trust and offer IT and getting back to work courses.

Now council bosses have negotiated a new 10 year lease, with the rent for the first five years fixed at the current £38,500 a year plus VAT.
