Caterham gets hitched
NOW here's something novel a two seater sports car that comes complete with four beds, a kitchen sink and a fridge!
Sounds like the ultimate multi-purpose vehicle; two vehicles in one, in fact.
Which is exactly what it is - for this Caterham sportscar is hitched up to the back of a luxury motorhome, ready and waiting to take you on the ultimate road trip with all mod cons along the way.
Motorhome hire company A Class Motorhome Rentals.has come up with the car plus camper concept so customers can enjoy the freedom and exhilaration of a driving holiday as well as luxury accommodation.
A motorhome, trailer and Caterham Seven Roadsport 175 package can be hired for a three-day weekend from £650, while customers can also hire a Caterham on its own from just £150 a day.
The new Roadsport 175's two-litre Ford engine produces a powerful 318bhp-per-tonne. In line with the luxury of the A Class motorhomes, the 175 is also available with full weather kit, SV Wide Body chassis for extra space, leather seats and padded armrests.
David Fegent, from A Class Motorhomes, said of the offer: 'Our customers regularly go to stunning places all over the UK and Europe, where there are some incredible roads just crying out to be driven in a classic sportscar. This way, holiday-makers can have the best of both worlds and a truly memorable trip.'
