The Killers have broken Scottish ticketing records by selling out at SECC Glasgow on March 6 next year in less than 5 minutes after going on sale.
Despite the fact that the band’s hugely anticipated hird album, Day & Age, is not released until November 24th, fans have shown that the Las Vegas rockers are undoubtedly a firm Scottish favourite by snapping up all tickets by 10.05am!
John Sharkey, Group Chief Executive of the SECC said: "This is the quickest sell-out gig that we have on record for a show of this size. It is testimony not only to the popularity of the band, but to the SECC’s new ticketing system which coped brilliantly with the demand".
DF Concerts promoter, Dave McGeachan said: "The Killers are one of the biggest bands in the world and fans cannot wait to hear their new material live. Every show they have ever performed in Scotland has been outstanding and they always comment on how Scottish crowds are the best in the world"
