FIVE delighted music fans have won tickets to this month’s Hydro Connect Festival, thanks to the Paisley Daily Express.
We teamed up with organisers and official transport provider Citylink to give away tickets, camping and travel worth over £1,500 for the event, which takes place in Inverary.
And the five lucky winners are Fraser McSorley, Lochinver Crescent; Dawn Roper, Underwood Lane; Craig Muirhead, Fisher Drive; all Paisley; Julie-Anne Levett, Kilbarchan Road, Johnstone; and David Nicol, Kings Crescent, Elderslie.
The Connect festival made its mark on Scottish music fans last year with performances by Bjork, Primal Scream and The Beastie Boys.
This year, Paisley boy Paolo Nutini will join other big names, including fellow Scots Franz Ferdinand, for the event.
Our five lucky festival fans have each won a pair of weekend and camping tickets, plus travel to the three-day music extravaganza in the grounds of Inveraray Castle from Friday, August 29, until Sunday, August 31.
If you were not lucky enough to win our great competition, tickets to the Hydro Connect Festival are still available by logging onto www.connectmusicfestival.com or by calling Ticketmaster on 0844 499 9990.
