CARING musicians are honouring the nation’s heroes by donating profits from their track ‘Remembrance Day’ to veterans’ charities.
Indie group Soulweaver are keen to mark the contribution that Britain’s ex-servicemen and women, as well as serving troops, have made for their country.
So band members decided that the proceeds from sales of their Remembrance Day track should be divided between the Erskine veterans’ home and the Help for Heroes charity.
The track is now available for download from the band’s website online at www.soulweaverband.co.uk and drummer Phil Bryant said: “We were originally going to donate all the money we raised to the excellent Help for Heroes charity but, since we started this project, we have realised there are many other fantastic charities out there, including Erskine, that are doing amazing work.”
