Un-bear-able loss as teddy goes missing!

Hi, I hope someone can help me!

My daughter lost this bear when coming home from holiday last September. As it has been lost for a while now I doubt there is much chance of it ever turning up. We thought she would have got over it but she is still deeply upset and not a day goes by when she doesn't mention it. I have tried everywhere to find a replacement without success including conacting the manufacturers and putting "missing" posters up around my town.

She lost the bear at Glasgow airport, and even though I phoned up every day (staff thought I was mad), there was no sign of it.

Today was the final straw when my daughter found some photographs of the bear taken from last year and started a full scale weep that lasted for an over an hour. It breaks my heart to think this bear went everywhere with her for years and when she thinks back on happy memories she only ends up feeling sad knowing that Lucy (that's the bear) spent special times with her. I know its only a soft toy but its like there has been a death in the family.

She was bought from Tesco for Mothers day in 2005 so I am hoping somebody somewhere must have one of these soft toys.

So my story is also a plea...  if anyone has one of these Tesco bears in their house, old, new, scabby, worn please could they get in touch with me. It could just be another soft toy to someone who has it thrown to the back of a cupboard or toy box but it would mean the world to myself and daughter if we could find one to replace the old teddy.
