It has been reported that 15 people were treated at the scene and five people were taken for treatment to the Royal Alexandria Hospital.
The captain of a Jet2 aircraft preparing to depart for Alicante declared an emergency at about 7.40am. It is believed smoke had been detected in the cabin.

The runway has been closed and flights to and from Glasgow Airport were suspended for a number of hours this morning.
The incident has caused major disruption for both incoming and outgoing flights.
