Your new Express has arrived

Paisley Daily Express

Welcome to your new-look Paisley Daily Express.

Today's edition marks the beginning of a new era for our historic newspaper.

As well as boasting a smart new design, youll find more news, features and sport packed into each edition, from Monday through to Saturday.

And its a snip at an amazing cut-price 20p.

Over its 138-year history, the Express has constantly evolved to make sure we keep up with changing times.

We hope you agree that the new look is easier to read and find your way around.

Were retaining all of the favourite sections and features which you have enjoyed over the years and are introducing many more, including a super new entertainment section The Ticket on Fridays.

This will bring you the best previews and reviews of entertainment taking place across Renfrewshire.

And our revamped Express Sports pages welcome new columnists in the shape of TV and radio personality Chick Young on Wednesdays and St Mirren legend Ricky Gillies on Saturdays.

To mark the launch of our bright new Express, you will find even more value, with some great special offers and competitions to enjoy.

Today, we are offering a free Warburtons loaf from Costcutter to all our readers.

And, tomorrow, you can get your hands on two free doughnuts from Aulds.

In fact, well be providing a great giveaway every day this week. Turn to page 10 to find out what else we will have to offer.

You can play a part in our latest evolution too.

We are making it easier for readers to contribute news and pictures by mobile phone, computer or tablet.

No story or event is too big or too small for the Express. After all, its the little, unsung things that people do that make our community so strong.

We may have a new look but one thing remains the same - our commitment to our readers.

It is a privilege to be the latest in a long line of custodians of this great newspaper.

Ever since the Express first hit the streets in 1874, we have played our role in the history of Paisley...but we couldnt do it without the loyalty of our readers, advertisers and newsagents.

Thank-you for supporting the Paisley Daily Express.

And let us know what you think about our new look.
